The Product

Bitumen Sealings Oy's extra flexible sealant bitumen KB2 is a polymer modified bitumen for sealing cracks in asphalt. The product is used in demanding locations where asphalt moves a lot, for example, by the ground frost during winter. KB2's flexibility in the cold is particularly good, so the seaming lasts several years.
The extra flexible seaming polymer modified bitumen KB2 is made of high quality bitumen and modified with synthetic SBS rubbers and other additives.

Hot work

Heating is a hot work that must strictly comply with the protection and safety guidelines of insurance companies.

Packaging

Silicone cardboard box, 15 kg / box.
Pallet 100 x 120 cm
49 boxes, 735 kg / pallet.

Heating

In heating, use a bitumen boiler with a thermostat and a mixer.
Max. Temperature 190 ° C.

Application

The recommended application temperature is 180-190 ° C

If the finished surface is wanted less sticky the surface can be coated after the application with powdery sand.
