The Product

Bitumen Sealings Oy's Joule Seaming Bitumen is a polymer modified bitumen for seaming joints. Polymers improve the low temperature properties of bitumen and increase heat resistance. Joule Seaming Bitumen is used, for example, to seam the asphalt cracks.
The Joule Seaming Bitumen is made of high-grade bitumen, modified with synthetic SBS rubbers and other additives.

Hot work

Heating is a hot work that must strictly comply with the protection and safety guidelines of insurance companies.

Packaging

Silicone cardboard box, 15 kg / box.
Pallet 100 x 120 cm
49 boxes, 735 kg / pallet.

Heating

In heating, use a bitumen boiler with a thermostat and a mixer.
Max. Temperature 200°C.

Application

The recommended application temperature is 180 - 190°C
